- I am a reasonably fit, 64 year old, who enjoys life to the full. Life as gift - with no great expectations other than that which love provides and demands. I have a passion for service focused politics. I have a distaste for the self-serving machine politics that dominate our polity today. I have a 34 year record of active engagement in Liverpool's civic affairs, including leading the campaign for the people to elect their Mayor in 1986. My Christian faith leads me to seek to live justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with my God. I am perhaps the oldest, continuing practice IT bloke around. In 1968 I began sorting punch cards at Nestle. Since 1978 I have been self employed servicing IT requirements of small-medium business. My IT business consulting skills are defining problems and implementing solutions for them. Indeed, skills needed for an active and purposeful politician.
