Happy BiCentenary Liverpool

Liverpool is our town. And yesterday, on Sunday November 7th 2010 Liverpool saw its 200th year since Governor Macquarie rowed up the river  ( Georges River ) to declare the location as "Fit for the Purpose" for a new town named Liverpool. The Governor was accompanied by local settler Thomas Moore ( Moorebank.. Moore Theological College) and his Surgeon Dr William Redfern ( Redfern, Redfern Oval - home of the South Sydney Rabbitohs).

Liverpool is the fourth oldest town in Australia, after Sydney, Parramatta and Hobart.

Happy Birthday Liverpool.

Lynch, Waller and Julia... all old hypocritical "lefties"

The coming Federal election will put before us a fundamental difference in the Prime Ministerial candidates, beyond the superficiality of gender. The difference was on display on recent July Saturdays in Liverpool.
